Back in the Studio

On 18 and 19 June, the second part of the recording sessions for my new album dedicated to the music of Andrzej Zaucha will take place. I return to the studio with Alan Wykpisz and Grzegorz Pałka, joined this time by two special guest vocalists: Aga Zaryan on the first day, Anna Gadt on the second.

The project began as an attempt to look more deeply into Zaucha’s work. The mature part of it, shaped within the Polish jazz scene, where he met some of the most remarkable instrumentalists of his generation. My point of departure became the network of musical kinships in which he moved at the source of his path.

The first public performance of the project took place in September 2025 at Teatr STU in Kraków, commissioned by ZauchaFest. The studio continuation allows us now to preserve material that remains open to new readings
