Kaczmarczyk vs Paderewski: Tatra
Kaczmarczyk vs Paderewski: “Tatra” is an album drawing on and inspired by „Album Tatrzańskie” by Ignacy Jan Paderewski – a great musician and diplomat, who played one of the key roles in Poland’s regaining of independence. In 1884 he reinterpreted highland songs, and 134 years later this work was “translated” into the musical language of Pawel Kaczmarczyk, combining folk, classical and jazz.
